Stipple Brushes

Natural hair stipple (or stencil) brushes for adding stenciling or interesting texture effects to your mixed media art. Made in Germany, what is so fantastic about these brushes, in my opinion (once upon a time I was a stencil artist), is that the bristles are not blunt cut, but rounded for a softer effect. Believe me, this is a plus when adding shading to your stenciling or trying to achieve a soft look. Using a blunt cut brush is not conducive to fine stenciling (or any kind of stenciling as far as I'm concerned). The bristles of these brushes also have lots of body.

Three options available:

Four-Brush Set: includes sizes 8, 10, 12, 16 perfect for medium to smaller areas $9.25
Medium Large Brush: size 2 for medium to large areas or to achieve a softer look $4.75
Large Brush: size 4 for larger areas or to achieve a softer look $5.25

FYI, sizes 2 and 4 are not too large for stenciling on small canvases if you're using one or two colors on your stencil. They'll work very nicely if you're aiming for a soft dry brush effect.
